I found more ponies!  They are so beautiful and peaceful grazing in the green field.  The buzzard was a different story, she did not want us around!

Dromedary?

Day 34

We found more Camels in Missouri!  Is this a Dromedary (Arabian Camel)?  It looks a little different than the camels that live in our neighborhood but this is a young one.  The horses were pulling a wagon with 2 men riding and behind the wagon 2 boys were walking with the camel.  It was a very interesting sight.

Today I decided to make chocolate chip cookies for the ones I love.

So much for healthy eating the next few days.

The daffodil below bloomed today!  It is a beautiful reminder spring will be here soon!  Although I don't feel like we had a winter.

Another beautiful day with a beautiful sunset.  One of our trees is full of buds already, I hope spring is around the corner and the buds don't get frostbite.

I believe when we become more observant in our surroundings we appreciate the beautiful backdrop in our lives.  We also begin to appreciate God's good sense of humor.

These little ponies make me smile everyday I drive by their field.  They run,
jump, kick and romp around chasing each other.  I can't figure out if they are ponies or

miniature horses.  Either way they remind me of giant puppies playing around.

We enjoyed a fun filled day with friends in Kansas City today.  On the way home Dave and I did a little shopping and drove around Lake Lotawana.  I did not have much time for my photography and the sun was setting as we drove by the lake but was able to catch a couple of shots.  We are going back soon to have dinner at the Marina Grog Galley...yum!

Got A Goose

Day 28

Sneaking up on a flock of geese is not easy.  I was able to get a few shots of these guys before they got away but I want to get closer.  Dave is going to help me get set up in a blind on the lake to get some good shots.   Never thought I'd want to wear camo but I'm going do it!  I'm going to shoot some waterfowl...with my camera.

Another unseasonably warm day provided many photo ops.  It didn't take long as I set out to find a subject, to notice this beautiful cat sunning himself on a stump.  The rays of light illuminated his fur with a glow.  The little bird was busy collecting twigs to build a nest.

Ok, my count has been off, sorry, I just didn't pay much attention to that detail, back on track now. =)

Had an awesome photo shoot today with a couple of special people.  We visited our camel neighbors. Momma Camel stood high on the hill with an obvious sense of content.   Hope to capture some shots of the baby someday soon.
