Fields of Purple


The fields are coming alive with 
a beautiful canvas of spring color.

  3. this is one time I'm hoping Mark is wrong but believe it or not, he says it's Chickweed!!! apparently its a common spring issue for the farmers and they'll come along here sometime soon and spray the fields to get rid of it before he plants his crop...its just sooo pretty! Mark says it looks beautiful like that in mass but up close each flower is teeny tiny, not much to look at.

  4. I googled it...seems he's right again...(guess that's why I ask him, huh?) :) Everything I found said Henbit or Chickweed...I did find a couple of mentions of something called Purple Deadnettle too.
