Day 28...Great White Pelicans
On a cool, dreary and wet day we trudged through
the mud and muck in an effort to get closeup shots of eagles.
Who would have thought we would see eagles and
great white pelicans fishing together on a Missouri
lake?
The eagles did not want close up photos today so
I will have to be safisfied with a distant view.

An amazing thing happened today.
On my way to find an eagle to photograph
I see two beautiful creatures flying right
outside our home.
They were soaring very high, gliding around in
the sky.
A part of their mating ritual.

around and diving for fish
below the dam
