Yes it was! I drove home the "back way" He was sitting on a fence post on the side of the rode. I turned around to get a shot and he flew up in a tree and looked at me. I'm lucky to get this shot! Wish I would have been prepared to take the shot when he was on the post. It was really close to the road.
THIS was worth having to work today!!! You wouldnt have caught this shot had you been in KC!!! :) Awesome! Owls are so hard to capture!
